    These are sounds I assembled and music I made and recorded for a great production of a play by playwright Alex Reed, directed by Brad Steinmeyer, for Fringe Festival 2014 at University of Colorado, Boulder. The play Believe is a futuristic dystopian allegory and narrative of a machine mountain that is both a crumbling city and a worldview dominated by a major religious order.

This track was composed from musical pieces from throughout the music I made for the play all set around the drone tracks from the first piece, Beginning. Even though this music did not appear in the play (a version of it with angry mob sounds was used for a dramatic scene toward the end), I felt that by making it and combining the large and cyclical quality of the drones with the pensive, tender and atmospheric undertones that were the sonic underpinnings of the revolution; change, chaos, and the unknown; I could both capture the sonic spirit of what a New Beginning would sound like in this soundworld and play, and put a nice endcap on this collection for my own aesthetic and literary purposes of completion and closure. From out of the rubble and dust, a New Beginning, allowing for renewal, regrowth, resurgence, and a new paradigm, new dissent, and new revolutions. All a part of the roundness of time and recurrent nature of our world and imagination.
